The pricing examples in this book closely follow the principles outlined in SMM (2nd Edition, June 2008) of Building and Associated Civil for Eastern Africa. Particular attention has been paid to the systematic procedure of building up unit rates which include the following components; material, labour, plant, overheads, profit and VAT.
